Just weeks from Southern Methodist University signing up for the George W. Bush Presidential Library, we learn that making the Bush magic won’t be as easy as it once appeared.

US News & World Report says reality may impinge on the fantasy world traditionally associated with Presidential Libraries.

“…family friends say coming up with the money won’t be easy. They fear that Bush’s unpopularity will put a damper on donations and that the sour economy will limit contributions even more. Then there is the matter of an endowment to keep the library going, which could cost an additional $50 million.”
