The Next Voice You Hear
Miss Grandpa’s voice on the radio?
Fret no more, Ronald Reagan is coming back to AM! It’s the very best of radio at it’s most analog, lovingly resurrected to win another generation to the cause.
It’s the hits of the 70s, 80s, 90s and today, without the clutter of those last three.
As Reagan re-animation efforts continue to reach new heights, the musty scripts are being presented as timeless words from yesteryear, “over 1,000 radio addresses that clarified his vision for America.”
And of course, “Non-political in nature.”
FDR gave his fireside chats while he actually held power, facing epic troubles larger than the looming abandonment of the Panama Canal Zone. But the idea of replaying his tapes during the 60s wouldn’t have passed the laugh test.
You Don’t Say
Just as they were getting all contemporary with a blog, comes word that the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Library & Museum’s hours will be cut back.
The Library is housed in the Northampton Massachusetts public library, which is making general cutbacks.
” Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer,
We’ll keep the Bush flag flying here.”

[with apologies to Jim Connell]
The ground may be shifting beneath their feet, but Southern Methodist University’s website has been updated with the proud boast of the Bush Library.
Moon Over College Station
“…too many citizens these days are becoming disengaged at a time when we need more involvement, more debate, and more foreign exchanges…That’s why the work of the Universal Peace Federation and The Washington Times is so important, and I thank Rev. Moon and salute all of you for coming here to address these urgent issues.†George H.W. Bush
John Gornfeld brings word of further Bush family cavorting with Reverend Sun Myung Moon, this time in the hallowed halls of the College Station Texas Bush Presidential Library.
It’s return on investment for the Korean cult leader.
Friend to Power*
Moonies funneled a million to the Bush Library on the sly, and former President Bush has given multiple speeches for pay to various Moon front groups. Bush bad seed Neil Bush, son of the former and brother of the current, has been on the Moon payroll for years. Most recently he traveled to Paraguay during the last days of the Colorado Party’s clinging to the
Down Paraguay Way
presidency, and Moon has put a million dollars into Neil’s troubled education via cow schemes.
The current Bush Administration has returned the favors, giving Moonies a piece of the abstinence education boondoggle among others.
Future Unknown!
Rev. Andrew J. Weaver is a leader in the opposition to the Bush Library at Southern Methodist University. He is responding to claims that the Methodist General Conference vote referring the question to local Methodist leaders is meaningless.
“ If this vote has no moral or legal force and is, “merely proceduralâ€, why did General Conference bother bringing it to a vote in the first place? …The petition against the Bush project could have been killed in committee, dozens were, but it passed the important Ministry and Higher Education Committee by a vote of 51 to 5. It could have easily been killed on the floor, but it was not. Instead it was formally referred by a vote of 844-20 to the owners of the SMU property.“
